As of March 2018, there are 7 international schools in Sarawak. The schools are listed in alphabetical order below.
1. Bintulu International School
Bintulu International School is located in Tanjung Kidurong, Bintulu. The school opened its doors to students in 2018 and offers the British Curriculum and Cambridge Curriculum leading up to the IGCSE. Bintulu International School accepts students to enter Reception to Year 6 levels. The school will only open up enrolment for Year 7 in 2019.
2. Borneo International School
Established in 2017, Borneo International School is located in Kuching. The school offers primary, secondary and pre-university levels. Students are taught the Cambridge curriculum leading up to the IGCSE. A Levels is offered at pre-university level.
3. Lodge International School
Lodge International School was established in 1953 and considered the oldest international school in Sarawak. The school has offers the British Curriculum and the IGCSE examination to primary and secondary students. A Levels is offered at pre-university level. Lodge International School is located in Kuching, Sarawak.
4. St Joseph’s International School Kuching
St Joseph’s International School Kuching is the extension of St Joseph’s Private School, which was established in 2011. The school offers the Cambridge Curriculum leading up to O Levels at secondary level.
5. Tenby Schools Malaysia
Tenby Schools Malaysia established a branch in Miri in 2013. The school offers the International Primary Curriculum, the British Curriculum and the Malaysian Curriculum. The IGCSE examination is also offered. Tenby Schools Miri accepts students at preschool, primary and secondary levels.
6. Tunku Putra School
Located in Kuching, Tunku Putra School was established in 1997 and offers the British Curriculum, International Primary Curriculum, Cambridge Curriculum and the Malaysian Curriculum. Students will sit for the IGCSE and A Level examinations at secondary and pre-university levels respectively. In 2020, Tunku Putra School will transition to Tunku Putra-HELP International School.
7. Woodlands International School
Woodlands International School is located in Sibu and offers the British Curriculum, Cambridge Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum. The IGCSE and A Levels examinations are offered as well. Woodlands International School accepts students at preschool, primary, secondary and pre-university levels.
