The federal territory of Putrajaya is located in the Sepang District of Selangor. It is a planned city and acts as the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. Nearby is the town of Cyberjaya which was developed in 1997 to become a modern educational and industrial hub.

There are plenty of good international schools in Malaysia, especially in Selangor. Here are the international schools located in Putrajaya and Cyberjaya.

 

Cyberjaya

1.  Abedeen International School

Abedeen International School was recently established in 2017 and offers a combination of the Malaysian Curriculum, Cambridge Curriculum and Islamic Curriculum which culminates in the IGCSE examinations. The school also offers preparation for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and A Levels. Abedeen International School can be found in Cyber 3.

Brainy Bunch International School

2. Brainy Bunch International School

Brainy Bunch International School has been operating since 2013. The school offers the Cambridge Curriculum to primary and secondary students. Preschool education at Brainy Bunch International School is based on the Montessori approach. The school is located in Cyber Valley.

3. elc International School

Students can enrol at elc International School from Reception up to Year 11. A combination of the Cambridge and British Curriculum are offered at the school to prepare students for the IGCSE examinations. In 1987, elc International School’s first campus opened in Sungai Buloh. The Cyberjaya branch has been operating since 2010.

King Henry VIII College

4. King Henry VIII College

King Henry VIII College is a British boarding school located in Cyber 9. The school is modelled after its sister school, Christ College in the United Kingdom. King Henry VIII College offers the British Curriculum, IGCSE and A Level examinations to students aged three to 18. The school will welcome its first intake of students in September 2018.

 

Putrajaya

International Modern Arabic School

1. International Modern Arabic School

International Modern Arabic School opened its doors in 2007 and offers the British Curriculum, IGCSE and A Level examinations. The school accepts students at preschool, primary, secondary and pre-university levels. International Modern Arabic School can be found in Presint 14.

 

2. Nexus International School

Nexus International School is one of the four international schools under Taylor’s Schools. Established in 2008, the school offers the International Primary Curriculum and the British Curriculum. Students sit for the IGCSE examinations at the end of secondary school. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is offered at pre-university level. Boarding facilities are available as well. Nexus International School is located in Presint 15.

 

3. Spectrum International Islamic School


Spectrum International Islamic School offers a combination of the Cambridge Curriculum and Islamic Curriculum. The school can be found off Presint 17. The school's original branch in Kenny Hill was established in 2016 and is open to preschool, primary and secondary students.
