Lower Elementary Celebrates 100 Days of School!

Lower Elementary celebrated 100 days of school recently! It was a momentous day for the Kindergarten 5 class, they counted to 100 and recorded it in a journal every morning. Their celebration included dressing as if we were 100 years old, making a 100-bead necklace, and making a 100-day snack by counting out 10 of 10 different items. They also wrote in a book about what would be awesome to have 100 of something or what would be terrible to have 100 of something. That led to some exciting discussions before we started writing! A few students felt 100 spiders would be awesome and others felt like 100 spiders would be terrible! It was fun to look at different perspectives. They also wrote about what they would do when they turned 100 and how they would look.
