Describe yourself in three words.

Passionate, conscientious, inquisitive.

What are your favourite subjects and why?

My favourite subjects are English and Visual Arts. I like these subjects because they give me an opportunity to express myself.

What kinds of extracurricular activities do you do and why?

I enjoy playing the violin, swimming and training for triathlons. I like the challenge of the violin and especially playing in an orchestra or string quartet. I also love swimming and triathlon training because I enjoy the club environment and always look forward to hanging out with my friends and coaches– it is also good exercise!!

What opportunities has your school given you that you would not have had otherwise?

AISM has presented me with many opportunities throughout the years. I have participated in music, sports and maths competitions, Technovation, Model United Nations, World Scholar’s Cup, and even a lip sync battle!

If you could change one thing about being a student at your school, what would it be?

There are so many great opportunities at AISM that there is never enough time to be able to do everything that is on offer. If I could change one thing about AISM it would be the magic of more time.

Describe your school in three words.

Nurturing, empowering, fun.

What do you hope to do when you finish school?

Through AISM’s many workshops, talks and just through everyday school life I am taught to believe that anything is possible! Although I have not decided what I would like to pursue when I leave school, I know that I would like to make a difference in the world.

What do you think is the biggest problem with the world today? What can you do about it?

I think there are many issues that plague our Earth today– global warming, plastic waste, poverty. Every day my goal is to make a 'teaspoon of change’. Whether it is volunteering for the Picha Project, using a re-usable metal straw or even just picking up rubbish you see lying on the floor, I believe that small efforts like these will contribute in some way to making the world a better place.
