Why did you become a teacher? Why did you choose teaching as a profession?
I helped first year students with their Biology practical in university. I found out I enjoy teaching.

I got my M.Sc. in Biology at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
What is the most memorable moment in your teaching career so far?
Teaching and guiding a group from Year 8 until Year 11. I really got to know them well.
What do you like most about teaching?
That you have a great and positive influence on other people’s lives.
What is the best thing about teaching at your school?
Good facilities for science. Polite and curious students.
Who or what inspires you?
Seeing growth in my students.
Describe the ‘perfect’ student.
Curious, not afraid to fail so they can learn from their mistakes.
